"I have always been interested in the intricacies of the human psyche and have probably an unhealthy interest in the darker and more tragic side of human nature. I am interested in the reasons behind our behaviours and the complexity of life’s events that make us who we are.

I am also interested in subjects of a more metaphysical and intangible nature, but still rooted in the real world. Memories - personal and collective, history, and most importantly things that are elusive, obscured in some way or just outside our sphere of understanding. I have a particular interest in the psychological phenomenon of the ‘uncanny’ and its manifestations in everyday life.

I am interested in the paring down of information, providing only the minimum to trigger associations or recollections. My work requires the imagination of the viewer for completion and therefore meanings or narrative remain ambiguous".
